I feel pity for Inter because they performed beyond expectations and were able to hold Man City down until the 68th minutes that Rodri broke this way through and netted the post. Even after that Inter continued in their tactics that led to them almost scoring two goals. Lucky was what deprived them from victory yesterday. This season wasn't a lucky season for the Italian clubs, because they performed well and appeared in all three European finals but they couldn't secure just one trophy. Inter has every opportunity yesterday to win the biggest of all,but they misused their opportunities and couldn't equalize the goal to give them hope.
Even from the start Inter weren't the favourites, so I don't think it was that much of a surprise after Manchester City won the title. Inter are a good and defensively organized team, but Manchester City and their coach are geniuses in developing tactics even though they make a few mistakes.
While Haaland, Foden, Grealish, Bernardo and Gundogan all blunted when they had chances, then Rodri dazzled and sealed the win with his goal. Good teamwork and the right strategy have brought Manchester City to its first title. Then Pep Giardiola deserves respect after winning 2 trebles in his coaching history.
