This was a golden opportunity for Dortmund to become champions and they know that very well. If you have a good season and Bayern Munich is untouchable, then 2nd place is much easier to accept. That was definitely not the case now. Dortmund should have gotten more out of it, and they gave it away completely in the last game. Bayern also all the luck in the world, but in the end they won that match on their own. I also expect a very strong Bayern Munich next season.
The Dortmund team missed out on the title this season because of their own stupidity. Dortmund had a good chance of winning the title this season. The Dortmund team could have won the Bundesliga title if they had won the last match. But they failed to win against a team like Mainz in the last match. Dortmund drew the match. Bayern Munich will strengthen themselves next season. And so I think the chances of Dortmund occupying the top spot in the table next season are very slim. Dortmund missed an easy chance to win the title.
This is the question I keep on asking Dortmund fully know that the game was their last match which they need to win to get the trophy. Dortmund performance in the last game that was supposed to make them the Champion of the league was very disappointed that they will lose the game to get what they wanted.
