This year as maybe not a good year for Messi because they didn't respect him as they should respect him, in fact, he didn't get what he had to get from the fans and that's why the performance of this player was not well enough. I think Messi is still a good player and he could help PSG much better than this if they helped this player and gave him a good atmosphere.
There's this false narrative that Messi didn't perform well for PSG. It's so false. Messi was the only person that could create chances in that team. PSG lacks creativity. I feel like there's no much motivation from the team. They seemed relaxed and don't want to fight. Then I also feel the whole team kind of wants to play for Mbappe. There are so many instances where other players are free but the player with the ball looks for Mbappe instead.
Messi had 35 assists, 32 goals in 75 games for PSG. THATS 67 goals and assist in 75 games. I know these are low number when it comes to Messi but these are still impressive numbers.
If PSG don't work on their team and get thing right, Mbappe might work alone next season because the two players that create the most chances for them are leaving, Messi and Neymar.
