Barcelona should not be silly with Xavi Hernandez. The Xavi I know cannot demand more than what Barcelona can afford. I mean this is Barcelona legend we are talking about. A passionate one in that matter who came to Barcelona when an average coach would reject it.
He didn't bother about the peanut pay but worked very hard to even judiciously sign good players even when Barcelona were having financial issues.
Now Barcelona has been made great again, why try to keep him in the old peanut salary. Xavi deserves salary raise and every other incentives.
Barcelona's finances are a little unstable or you could say Barcelona has bad finances to provide salaries to players and coaches but Xavi without thinking about it all because Xavi is aware of his responsibility is to give the best for the future of Barcelona in every game you have to always be strong to get what you have dreamed of.
even though he failed in the champions league, Xavi was able to give his best for several seasons and the Barcelona management should think about Xavi's services that build without thinking about salary.
