Finishing the season in fifth is certainly not so bad for Liverpool even though Liverpool is a big team that is very often seen in the top four of the standings. In the next season, Liverpool certainly have to get better in the Premier League so that Liverpool can have the capital to return to appear in the UCL competition, although Liverpool can also try to pass through the European League by winning a trophy there. But in general Liverpool should be better next season in the Premier League.
Of course, this is not too bad for Klopp's squad because at least they can still finish in the top five. But it's a bit of a shame they can't move up to shift Newcastle to fourth place if in their last game against Southampton and Aston Villa, they could win the match and secure full points then I think they will be able to shift Newcastle to qualify for the UCL. I hope management can bring in new quality players to replace some of their players who have left.
