Since the Erik ten Hag era came to an end for Ajax they haven't been able to play as good as that time. This season was a big mess for them considering how they play normally. They changed two more managers since that date also. First Alfred Schreuder was appointed to the position. He did his job for only 7 months and Johnny Heitinga took over from where he left who is an old Ajax player at the same time.

But none of them has been able to do a good work in general of the time they worked for. I don't know if it is right to sack managers too often. I don't believe so because you should give someone a year at least as long as they don't mess things up too much during his time.

Ajax have lost some really good players previously in a transfer window also though. But I still see the squad really good in fact. They need the right management for them to be competitive for titles again.
