But the price set by Tottenham for Kane is too high. The Lilywhites just wanted to let go of the 29-year-old player at a price of 100 million Pounds Sterling, that's quite crazy at such a high price and even Manchester United and Real Madrid have given up on being able to get Kane.
Since the beginning, Tottenham has been quite stubborn about Kane's transfer. There is no intention at all to sell the player immediately in the summer of 2023 even though there is a risk of losing Kane for free in the summer of 2024.
Harry Kane will turn 30 in July, of course some teams are not too emotional about getting Harry Kane if Tottenham apply a release clause of 100 million Pounds Sterling for teams who want to have him. Now, several important options that interested teams will take are resigning in the context that they will be willing to wait for Harry Kane to become a free agent next season and that will be very detrimental to Tottenham. In other words I think Tottenham should be able to let go of Harry Kane for a fair enough transfer fee so they don't lose money next season. But we will see the reaction of Daniel Levy whether he decides to lower Harry Kane release price or he remains adamant to keep him for $100 million pounds.
