Even though he hasn't been able to provide a trophy for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has been successful enough to prove that he is still productive in scoring goals. In 16 matches with Al-Nassr, Ronaldo managed to become #2 as the top scorer of the clubs under Talisca. he success with 14 goals, while Talisca with 20 goals. So, it is not impossible that next season with a full playing schedule, Ronaldo can give his first trophy for Al-Nassr. So far there has been no disciplinary action reported. This means that he has no regrets about his decision to play at Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo's quality in scoring goals is still quite extraordinary at Al-nassr and I think next season will be even better than this season. If I'm not mistaken Ronaldo has already scored a Het-trick at Al-nassr and the quality of his right foot shot is still quite powerful although it is no longer the same as the one during his prime at Real Madrid. Next season that the competition for attackers at each club will be much more competitive and Ronaldo will be even more motivated to set his new record there, considering that there will be several other players who will come next season impression..
Ronaldo is enjoying the rest of his career in the Saudi Arabian League and even though he hasn't been able to bring the title to Al-nassr yet the quality of his playing is still good enough. Maybe we can judge his ability in the next season because he moved there half the league season has been going on. It will be interesting to see how the Saudi Arabian League will play out next season with several European players set to play there.
Yes so far he scored a good number of goals, but I think even a third or more than that was with penalties. Not that they don't count, but they are more of a present to pimp the statistics. Before he arrived someone else was taking the penalties with great success and that privilege was now taken away from that guy and given to Ronaldo. That is not to disrespect his performance in the SPL, but it is still important to kind of reasonably classify his overall performance in a league that is far below the level he used to play in the Premier League for Manchester United (first stay there) and Real Madrid with the biggest rivalry the soccer world has ever seen between him and Messi.
Found the numbers, he scored 14 goals (5 penalties) in 16 games. I have no problem with penalties as they are part of the game, but usually the ratio is a bit different than this. Scoring more than a third of the goals from penalties is a bit off the charts I am used to.
