Miami Heat deserves some praise, they are underrated in the whole playoffs but they proved them wrong.
The Denver Nuggets also deserve the praise especially Nikola Jokic, the media keeps on bashing him as an overrated player and there was even a time he was called a "stat padder" because of the amount of triple-doubles that he recorded. That's not right, they cannot just accept he is a real genius.
I guess he can shut up his critics now, when he won back to back MVP, his detractors says he need to win a NBA ring. Now he did it, but for sure they will still find loopholes in his game. Maybe they will say now that he needs to win another one, and another one.
I actually found one on Twitter earlier on how they explain things thoroughly why Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets won the championship.
It's so absurd that I don't know if that person is still in his right mind.
Here's how he summarized it.
Nuggets won against the 8th seed Timberwolves
Then they won against the 4th seed Phoenix Suns.
Next is the Lakers another 7th seed.
Finally, they won against the 8th seed again.
He said, "What's so great about that?" Obviously, not a basketball fan as he only looked at the seed, and even if we go at looking at just the seeds, he didn't even consider how strong the Miami Heat is in defeating the number 1 and 2 of the East. Very bad summary of how the game works. And like it's the fault of the Nuggets to be in battle against the number 8. Somehow, it made me chuckle at how far haters will go just to pull down anyone.

Bruce Brown and KCP showed up again in the last minutes of the game, the same as they did in Game 4. Defense! An offensive rebound and a put-back for Brown which is crucial to get the lead back and a steal from KCP that ended the game. Congratulations to the Denver Nuggets.

Specially Bruce Brown, I think he just elevated the game. And just like any other championship team, there have to be someone who has to do the dirty jobs and that is Brown and KCP. KCP is now twice a NBA champion, first with the Lakers and now with Denver Nuggets.
He truly did. Bruce Brown worked harder in this team although he has his moments with the Brooklyn Nets too. I am amazed with both of them especially KCP, he realized that he is not just a shooter anymore, he is also good in defense as long as he is focused. A good steal from the Washington Wizards and I like how he feels like he is home now.
Then there is Aaron Gordon that was not interviewed during the presentation of the trophies, I wished they let them talk.
That guy just defended the star players of every team they defeated. KAT, Lebron, Kevin Durant, and Jimmy Butler. A very impressive defensive discipline from him. He didn't even care if he cannot score as long as he can stop the star players, most of them will not be seen in stats but we as basketball fans will not forget that.
It's done. He can go home now. He had been itching to be back in his country.  Grin There's a horse race coming up.
Is this Jokic? I've just watched an interview of him that he certainly likes to stay on their stable.
Yes, that's him.
