Gifting Bitcoin to wife on wedding day doesn't seem necessary of course Bitcoin is an investment but it will have no value if she is not crypto oriented it's  better you bring up a better idea except you are sure she will make good use of Bitcoin investments 
I believe no one should tell you what to gift besides  if it turns out a bad idea you may come back blaming them
