I turned my attention to Newcastle back in the second half of last season when they started to perform very well after the change of ownership of the club... This season they have been showing class from the start... I think next season in the Champions League they will also do well because usually English clubs do well in that competition... I would be surprised if Newcastle can make it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League next season, but for now I'm just sure they won't make it to the last 16. Of course they were good in the second half of the season to successfully end the season in the top 4 of the standings, but they really have to realize that the atmosphere of the Champions League is really very different.
I'm just interested to know how many players they will bring in for next season. They have some fierce competition, so an increase in squad depth is to be expected.

This season the team from the Premier League dominates the International League where Newcastle gets a place there which means they have enough experience
