Dude, I really like KCP.
He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.
The Nuggets' management will make a big mistake if they don't keep their current roster for at least one more season. As for KCP, he's under contract with the Nuggets until the end of the 24/25 season. So I wouldn't worry about him because he will most likely be with the Nuggets.
Anyway, the season is officially over, and now it's offseason time. I even wonder if there will be any major trades between other teams this summer or not.
I think they need one more player to be even better, I'm thinking someone like Doncic would fit them perfectly he is good friend with Jokic and I think he would thrive in Nuggets. With that happening I see them win couple of championships more.
Getting Doncic is not really realistic - cannot see Dallas really letting him go. Denver's biggest strength is their cadre of two-way role players is a great match for the creation abilities of both Joker and Murray. Gutting the roster for another star essentially doubling Jokic's playmaking role would be counterproductive.
The Denver core is still pretty young. They should just get a couple reinforcements via vet min contracts and run it back with the team they have. It's not like there are a lot of up-and-coming teams to leapfrog them talent-wise:
Warriors and Lakers are kinda old
Boston is super inconsistent
Miami seems to always be two players away
Philadelphia has Harden who will be either gone or older and less efficient
Phoenix looks to be kinda top heavy and a team Denver should match up well against
Not saying Denver will go all the way again, but it doesn't look as if they need to make major changes.
