No, there's no relation between the project he managed with his reputation,
actually there is mate because if something bad happens in project that he is managing specially Duelbits that he is handling for years now? at some point this will have impact to his reputation but of course not that damage but still have some reactions if he will not act accordingly to address the issues.
but surely he will care and contact the support of the project in order to sustain the project for long term. There's no way a good project will avoid to answer and resolve the accusation or complaint toward them.
When there's an accusation created about a big casino by newbie, most of them are only fake accusation because the gambler broke the casino rules or he lose all of his money that he have gambled.
