We can't say much at this point but I'm pretty sure that City won't win it again. They need 1 bad game in knockout stage and they will be out. Going 2years without bad game it's really hard and City does not have legacy of Real M to do that.
What gives you the impression that Manchester City won't be able to accomplish what Real Madrid did by winning the champions league back-to-back by the next season? Manchester City currently possesses the best team that can defeat any opponent. The only thing I am aware of that would prevent Manchester City from winning the Champions League by the next season is if they sold or loaned some of its important players to other teams, or even if some of their players sustained major injuries that would have a negative impact on the team's performance. Apart from that, I don't think anything can stop Manchester City from reclaiming the champions league title.
Throwing out a statement like "I'm pretty sure Manchester City won't win again" is insubstantial. It's simply because the odds are against Manchester City to win it again. When you choose an answer upfront that historically has been right more often than not, what is the point in saying that? Real Madrid has shown how it is possible to win it three times in a row, but the luck they had was also significant and the chance that they can repeat that is close to zero, but not zero. I will say that in the next 20 years Real Madrid won't win the CL three times in a row...
But in this case I agree with Marykeller as Manchester City isn't done yet. Haaland is still on the rise and who knows what players they will bring in this summer. If I had to make a guess for next season I would go with Manchester City indeed as I don't think any other team will be stronger than them, but that doesn't guarantee them the title as there are a lot of minor things that can influence the outcome in that competition.
