Mbappe's favorite position is at swing, not at the center. He does not like that position even in his national team and at Real Madrid, they have Vinicius and Rodrygo who can play at two swings.
If Mbappe joins them, I think he will be used as a striker and it will be a challenge for Mbappe to adapt to that position. He will have to improve his muscles to be more like a striker. In addition, the striker position will reduce his chance to use his speed that is more useful at swings. I am thinking about Mbappe like Thiery Henry because they are both very speedy on field and very dangerous with counter attacking.
Mbappe must sharpen his finishing skills more because sometimes his shots are too simple and can be blocked by goalkeepers.
Even so, Rodrygo in his latest interview said he was very happy if Mbappe joined Real Madrid. Rodrigo added that Mbappe is one of the best players at the moment and if he comes to Real Madrid it will certainly bring a bright future for Los Blancos. We know very well that transfer fees are very expensive and PSG are targeting more than 200 million euros for a team that wants to sign Mbappe. But I don't think it's a big problem for Florentino Perez because he has also been waiting for a moment like this for a very long time to sign Mbappe's contract.
It's typical for Mbappe to struggle to fill the main striker's position, but at Real Madrid that's the only vacant position now since Benzema left and I think it's time he thinks about his more established career with the best team in the world so he will start to be able to compete for won the ballon d'or in the future with its competitors. I imagine that if indeed Mbappe joined Real Madrid and we would see a new trio of Vini, Mbappe and Rodrygo, who, when carrying out quick counterattacks, would definitely be very difficult for any defender to chase.
Mbappe is already preparing transfer by saying that he wants to stay at PSG. That way he pushes PSG to release him this summer already for not that much money. I don't think that he will cost 200 million because there is only one year of contract left. PSG can either get nothing next year or something this year. I would expect an amount of around 140 - 150 million and some additional bonuses based on the performance of the team he is going to sign a contract with. There are not many clubs that are relevant here, but it seems that Real Madrid is in the pole position for now.
