Most gambling addicts In my opinion absolutely have control over their own self but it is just a matter of discipline and how committed he is to changing or stopping their addiction, I don't believe that they don't have a choice and doesnt have any control, but they just let their addiction take over. I mean gambling wasn't really like drugs, cigarettes, or any kind of substance that actually affects your body making you go crazy if you doesnt have any of it, and your body just wanted this substance every day I could say that's a different story.
Yeah, we don't see a lot of this kind of story on the news or internet so their was probably some kind of mental disorder to the grandfather in my opinion, or maybe he's just way to stress to think straight anymore because of his problems.
