Nonetheless its a good news for Nepal as they will finally be seen competing with top teams of Asia.

Nepal shown its existence and perform really well in its previous matches and now we are looking it in the Asia Cup and I hope it will show its power in the Cup too. All are top levels team and now we can say the Nepal team is also in top levels teams because now it is playing with them. And if it will perform well so it will show its name everywhere.

If you remember, Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup back in 2006 as well. But then the entire tournament was cancelled due to some dispute between the BCCI and PCB. For the next edition of the Asia Cup, the qualifiers was conducted once again rather than allowing Nepal to qualify directly. And this was the time when ICC changed their eligibility criteria, which allowed the Gulf teams to compete with first class players from India and Pakistan. As a result, the next tournament was conducted in 2008, and United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong participated in this tournament along with the 4 test nations from Asia.

Smaller teams like Nepal know what a big achievement it is to qualify for a major tournament but after they qualify, all their hard work goes in vain when the tournament is canceled due to political strife. In this season of Asia Cup as well, Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup as the sixth team but till now it was uncertain about the Asia Cup tournament because India was not willing to visit Pakistan and when Pakistan offered a hybrid model, various countries refused to play in that hybrid model. This year's Asia Cup is going to be held. This is great news for Nepal as the Asia Cup is finally going to be held after much discussion and criticism.

Asia Cup is very important for a team like Nepal. The Nepal team is not strong. And their players are inexperienced. Nepalese players will become more experienced if they play in big tournaments like Asia Cup. In this tournament, they will play against world-class players from Sri Lanka, Pakistan India and Bangladesh. I don't think Nepal will win any match. But the experience that the Nepali players will gain from this series is definitely very important for them.

The Asia Cup is basically held in the Asian continent with all the cricket playing countries.Among them are India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka.However, Nepal is one of the most popular cricket-loving countries in Asia.They are working very hard to succeed in cricket I think Asia Cup is a very important tournament for them if they do well in this tournament then surely their cricket will go far.

Their performance is improving very quickly. They have a lot of talented players in their country. Since Nepalese people like cricket well, they are interested in playing cricket. Nepal's squad has several talented players. These players will become experienced and Nepal team will be stronger. And this year's Asia Cup will help Nepalese players to become experienced.
