BRICS is an acronym for the powerful grouping of the world's leading emerging market economies, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa,and it aims is to promote peace, security, development and cooperation.
And lot of countries around the world are applying to join to benefit from these newly formed association.which are
Algeria (applied in 2022)
Argentina (applied in 2022)
Bahrain.
Egypt.
Indonesia.
Iran (applied in 2022)
Saudi Arabia.
United Arab Emirates.
And lot more still applying to join.
So what are your thought on the collaboration of countries that come together and form BRICS.
The collaboration is very loose to be honest. If you see India and China don't share a good diplomatic relation yet are part of this collab. It's because Collab has very little to do. It's not at all like NATO, yes closely like the G7. But only benefit it gives to the country is easier cross border trade. Other than that there is no major economic benefit or any other benefit of such an organisation. I think world needs an association like the NATO as well to counterbalance the powers.
