Jude Bellingham will officially wear one of the iconic jersey numbers at Real Madrid and the jersey number 5 was once worn by one of Real Madrid's legendary players, Zinedine Zidane. It seems that Bellingham really wants this jersey number and he has also thanked Jesus Vallejo for agreeing to give him the jersey number 5. Bellingham doesn't want the number 22 shirt currently worn by Rudiger because he really wants to wear a new number from now on and it goes to number 5 at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, the reason for choosing number 5 is because Bellingham was very inspired by Zidane and it's only natural that if we pay close attention to Bellingham's style of play it is very similar to Zidane's. It looks like this will be a good start for Bellingham with Real Madrid and he can't wait to play alongside Modric and also Kroos in midfield.

It looks like maybe Jude Bellingham won't have as much time playing alongside Modric and Toni Kroos. Because I think Jude Bellingham will definitely be a replacement for Modric and Kroos in the Real Madrid midfield and in that way, it looks like Real Madrid will start playing young players more often and resting older players like Modric and Kroos. But regarding the same jersey number as Zidane, for me it doesn't really matter, because whatever jersey number Jude Bellingham wears, it won't make him unlucky or lucky.
It's true that Bellingham won't have long enough to be able to play with Modric and Kroos, but during an interview yesterday he said that he can't wait to be able to play with the two veterans because he understands very well the experience he will get on the same field with both of them very important for his future.

Maybe when Bellingham can play with Modric and Kroos for only one season and Ancelotti will certainly rotate so that all of his players run smoothly. Bellingham says he doesn't need to be a Zidane, he just needs to be himself and he will try to keep winning with Real Madrid.

@rendravolt while I’m happy for him as he’s secured his transfer to one of the biggest club in the world I sincerely hope that he’s not left on the bench and he’s continuously playing as it’s important for his development that he plays a lot. Furthermore the Zidane comparison are too soon because he’s coming to a new league and he’ll make mistakes and learn from them hence I feel that all Real Madrid fan’s should give him time to settle before he starts to show off his skills.
