They need reassurance that there is no malicious intent within the smart contracts and that the platform is secure without vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers. It is important to know the individuals behind the project, the team that is building it, and the community of users.

This is the main issue with dex wallets that they often get hacked. Maiar, Merlin, Dexible, to name a few, were all dex service providers that were hacked in the last 2 years and you're obviously running a wallet, since the money is going back and forth between you and your clients. If other companies that were calling themselves safe because of smart contracts lost their clients money, what would make us trust you?

Thanks for your comment!

There seems to be some misunderstanding regarding DEX and wallets. This means that we don’t provide wallets ourselves. We are non-custodial. The users connect to our platform using metamask and trust wallet, which are on-chain wallets and they are independent of us. Also regarding Magic Link wallet, that is a wallet set up by Magic, not by us.

Regarding your concerns about getting hacked, the safetest way to use your hardware wallet. In general, we always recommend everyone to use hardware wallet in case your web browser gets compromised.

The examples of services that you mentioned, like Dexible.io. They are a third part vendor that manages a wallet for you, i.e., it is a centralized service that trades on your behalf on DEX. I would take ownership and be in charge of my own wallet, instead of relying on third services.

I hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if you have more questions! Thanks
