Asia Cup groups were revealed. India, Nepal and Pakistan falls under one group 1. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan comes under the group 2. This makes the matches very interesting as India vs Pakistan match will be promoted big by the media. Nepal have improved much and hope this helps have good cricket with India and Pakistan.
In the second group, we can expect Sri Lanka to be on the top position. Bangladesh and Afghanistan will have similar odds which will keep things challenging to take the second position on the group.
I think they always intentionally keep Ind vs Pak in the same group to ensure they play atleast 1 match with each other for sure and if things be good they might even play 2 matches as well. But overall It would be a great encounter of both the teams before the worldcup as well which too I feel can be won by any of two. Being in the subcontinent I think Australia has less chances of lifting it this time and number 2, 3 are Pak and India so yes something to look forward to for sure.
