I know everyone has played gambling and have experience the losses and the winnings. Some may have won life changing money from gambling while other may have lost their life savings through gambling.
It will be nice if everyone can tell if the gambling has been lucky for them or the gambling have made their life even more miserable than before ?
People come in gambling having big dreams, have you seen your dreams full filled or you have face the biggest nightmare of your life ?
all gamblers must have had the most enjoyable and saddest experiences during gambling but there were those whose lives changed 180 degrees or not at all, i still remember when i lost several thousand dollars while gambling, it was the most unlucky day in my life imo but that bad day didn't change my life because i gambled with my cold money and i let go of all my defeats that day, i just didn't want my life to be messed up because of gambling, however i consider gambling to be a medium for entertainment for me, not media for destroying my life.
Yeah, important lesson learnt from your rather short story is that "Decision is very important", decision is what makes or breaks a man, and not the problem in his life, because even in the midst of that problem, the man can decide to continue to stand firm and strong, allowing nothing to way him down.
Losing thousands of dollars is really a big deal for me, considering the fact that I am not a millionaire, even I my local currency before we start talking about in dollars, something can lose such an amount and decide that the only way to kill the pain and regret is to commit suicide, like we read recently in one of my post in the gambling discussion board, decision to keep standing strong and firm, not matter how much lost to gambling, is indeed one way to show our strength and leadership capabilities.
