Bellingham is joining Real Madrid by the end of this month officially. This was one of the most profitable deals for Dortmund in the recent years though. In this way they can still reach their main target for a season even if they don't make it to the Bundesliga title. This target is to make a big profit in sales of talented young players such as Bellingham. Despite doing this the ending of this season wouldn't be forgotten too easily in my opinion. Because they literally handed over the title to Bayern Munich despite having a comfortable match on paper.
Fans and the board should still be happy with Terzic's work in general. This was really one of the closest seasons to the title for them.
I don’t think Dortmund should be happy with what they have achieved. Having a clear chance like that to win the title and not taking that chance is absolutely disastrous. Probably if they’re going to win the Bundesliga title players who are playing in. Dortmund were going to be a little hesitant about leaving because they just won the title.
But watching what they have done at the end of the season makes me understand why Loklhon is not a long-term destination for any player.
Real Madrid getting Jude Bellingham is great news for both the player and also Real Madrid. Interested to see how he is going to perform in a better club.
I still think BVB got a bad deal with Bellingham, as usual.
Every season you see mediocre players getting bought by big teams for 70-100 million and now Bellingham, one of the best talents in Europe which is already a superstar, is just being bought for 100 million + bonus payments. I don't get it. When it comes to Bundesliga players every team in Europe always gets a discount.
Also, why does Madrid pay the money in partial payment?? When you don't have the money, you should not be allowed to sign new players!
At least often enough those players, after going away from Dortmund, can't continue their rise and performance, love to see that.
In the past, players like Sancho and Dembele didn't meet the expectations. Only Haaland, who left for a laughing 75 million (because of contract) to Manchester City of course delivered. This must be the best deal in history in regards to money spent.
Borussia Dortmund is known to be selling their best players in almost all the summer transfer windows and that is why Bayern Munich will continue to dominate the German Bundesliga for more seasons to come.
Jadon Sancho was sold last two summer before Erling Haaland was sold to Manchester City last summer and now Jude Bellingham has left for Real Madrid. I think the club's transfer strategy isn't concerned by the success of the team rather they're more concerned by how much they make as gains when they sell these players. They might also be lucky raise another great player before the end of next season and still sell him at the end of the season
