I mean seriously dude? England declaring first innings with 2 wickets still left. I don't know why they are in so hurry to declare the innings. Root and Bairstow rescued England when game was slippig away from them. England scored 393 runs with RR of 5.04. Khawaja had a terrible WTC final and will be looking to score some runs today.
May be Ben Stokes wanted to bat again as soon as possible and hence declared the innings even though Joe Root was in the crease and Ollie Robinson was playing a proper Test innings and even i was confused and surprised when they declared the innings as i cannot understand what kind of approach is this with just 4 overs they could bowl even though they declared for the day.
Ben Stokes have done a different style of performance in the first day. Maybe if one wicket have fallen in the four overs, then it is a real success for England team. Australia have played those four overs really well. Surely by the second day start England could've started the innings if they hadn't declared the innings. Now the days start could bring few wickets. Lets see whether the trick work for them.
