There was a good news regarding Roma squad because their defender Chris Smalling has been decide to extended his contract and he will be at Roma until 2025 and Smalling said he feel comfortable to playing at Roma so it was easy decide for him when Roma offering contract extension because he want to play at this team much longer and this season Smalling has been played 32 matches in Serie A and he is one important defender for AS Roma and no wonder Roma are willing to give him contract extension because Mourinho was very satisfied with his performance and Smalling was arrived to Roma since 2019 although Roma has been changing coaches several times but Smalling always be gets one place in starting lineup
This is very good news and of course fans should be happy about this because after all, Smalling has always been the first choice at the moment. apart from that, he also in Rome does have a big enough role so he is worth keeping.
But on the other hand, they also need to add a few more now because even though Smalling is good it won't be enough either so they still need to look for a few other players, especially in terms of defense and in the middle especially if Mou is still there for them next season then inevitably they should try to improve in that position because Mourinho has always liked their way of full defense and bus parking.
Victor Osimhen had a really good season. He is certainly going to get attention from a lot of big clubs. I don’t think he will stay in Napoli. He is getting a lot better offers. And by better I mean from bigger and better clubs. It is expected that he is going to leave.
But I still have no idea where he is going to go. The thing is he is very expensive right now. If he does not perform there have been other players who are a lot better in this price range. The risk is there. The question is is the risk worth taking? Because there is always a risk involved in every transfer. Also, is it safe to go for a player of this price range when he has told himself for only one season so far?
Victor Osimhen, displayed the best form of his career and this has attracted interest from several European clubs. I learned that Osimhen insists that the decision about his future lies with Napoli, and he is focused on helping the team win games and trophies. While his contract with Napoli runs until July 2025, there is a strong expectation that English clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United are pursuing a permanent transfer. I wish he goes Manchester United.
Victor Osimhen would benefit more from moving to Manchester United than to Chelsea, in my opinion. Chelsea's team has many good players who they acquired for a high price but still don't perform well, so if Osimhen joined the team, his career would likely come to an end as they would keep him down or refuse to start a game with him because they have so many players. Manchester United does have players, though, unlike Chelsea, who have players and still can't perform well this season.
It will be very exciting to see Victor Osimhen play for English clubs since it is ideal for players to play in many teams to demonstrate their strength and ability rather than remaining in one as a top player.
But indeed, in a number of other conditions, it seems that Manchester United are also not as insistent as before in bringing in this player, instead their focus is now, such as switching to striker from Atalanta Rasmus Hojlund, although this is still only speculation.
Osimhen is still quite heavy and even 120 million is the initial price that Napopi gave to redeem this player, of course this is a big thing and deserves more mature thought for Manchester United.
