Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy simply doesn't want to sell Kane to any team for an unsatisfying amount of money. Because he is really their everything now. I have no idea where they could have finished this season if it weren't for Kane's huge contribution with 30 goals. He is about to become 30 years old next month which is another important information. Because spending like 120 million euros or up for Kane from now on wouldn't seem very logical for the majority of rich teams.
Real Madrid must be finding more logical to wait for Mbappe to use significant amount of their funds. Or they would sign a more sensible-priced skilled striker this summer most probably.
I don't understand what Levy was thinking, even at such an irrational price. to be honest, I've stopped following the Harry Kane rumours. however, one by one the teams that wanted to bring him slowly backed down. starting from Bayern, Madrid and finally Manchester United. no agreement whatsoever was made, none other than because the price tag was too high. that's why these three clubs have stopped hunting for Kane. at least, the last rumor I've read reports it does.
well, considering that Harry Kane only has one season left on his contract until June 30, 2024. after that, his contract will expire alias as a free agent. that way, the Spurs will lose their valuable asset. however if Spurs let him go in this summer's transfer window, there will be several clubs ready to secure his services. but on condition, a decent price for a player of his age. or maybe, Harry Kane doesn't want to leave Spurs.
Well, now Madrid has another option besides Kane. with the commotion made by Mbappe, and statements from PSG management. that means, Madrid has the potential to sign him in the transfer window next season. with the remaining duration of one last season, the price will be negotiable. because, only a few clubs can bring in Mbappe and at the same time there is a problem with his salary.
This is interesting, because all the attention is currently on Mbappe. we'll see, whether PSG will include it on the sale list, and how Madrid reacts to it, this is interesting.
