@carlo, in personal I totally agree with you, I have been running my own rig voting 1 for almost 1 month, but that is my own choice, not the pool, I don't own the pool or the minners at our pool...
It's really easy for a pool operator to "decide" the vote for our minners, but it's a free market we are running, we don't and will not tell people the price to buy or sell, we like HVC technically, but you decide HVC's future wtih your vote.
Per your suggestions, I will change the default 1024 to 512 after 10 hours.
To 1. I believe it's already at 512.

BTW, no one was suggesting anything other then setting the "default" to 1. Any miner is/will be free to change it to whatever they wish to have it set to. Others who are lazy or just don't understand how the vote works will have something already pre-set for them to use. They of course always have the ability to change it at any time. We as a community just think a lot of people "use the default" without changing it so for these people we would prefer the "default" be set to 1. Nothing more than that.
