Just as the name. I was hoping I could get the feedback of the community about if there was ever a time when they borrowed money for gambling? Another question; if a gambler consistently borrow money to fund their gambling finance is it enough to consider them an addicted gambler?
I have a gambling friend who is currently abandoned by his wife and family, because he is too busy spending his time gambling compared to his family, I don't know how much money he has spent, as far as I know he used to be the son of a rich man in my village who has a luxurious house and cars, but after he lost his parents, he was even more messy because his life was getting more and more irregular, he lost big bets at online casinos as well as at land casinos.

He played and tried a lot of gambling, he even sold his house and car to gamble, even he also has a lot of debts to people in my village, that's why I call him a heavy addict, because if he's not a heavy addict then he can stop from his addiction before losing more. it's sad, never gamble by borrowing money because it will make things worse

     -  That's the effect of being addicted to gambling, you can no longer control yourself and you don't care if it destroys your family and neglects it. It's sad when that happens to a gambler who squanders money just because of gambling addiction.

That's why it's different that you still know what you're doing when you gamble and you still have control over yourself, and you should also only play it to a limited extent so that it doesn't lead to addiction.
