Kylian Mbappe's contract with Paris Saint Germaine makes doesn't allow PSG to extend his contract without his permission and that's the main problem at the club right now because Mbappe has refused to extend his contract.
It now left for PSG management to keep him at the club till when his contract expires by 2024 summer and watch him leave the French capital for free or sell him this summer and make money from his sale. It's actually a big decision to make at the moment for the club's management considering the amount of key players that's left the club this summer

We know that PSG will lose around $200 million if they don't make the right decisions so far there are 2 clubs that are really interested in signing Mbappe
Manchester United and Madrid are the most serious when they release Benzema it means they need someone new to take on Benzema's role. This transfer drama is not as easy as we imagine there are several aspects to consider.
Indeed, that is the reality and of course this amount of money is not small for Kylian Mbappe. Therefore PSG is desperate to sell Mbappe if he doesn't want to extend his contract immediately. On the other hand, this transfer drama will not end if it is linked to Real Madrid and maybe we will be able to find out next year, but for now it seems that Mbappe is not a priority for Real Madrid. We will also see how much PSG will lose if in the end Mbappe goes to Real Madrid as a free agent. Maybe it will be big news over the next year.
Mbappe stay on 2-years contract with PSG if he wants then he can stay 1 more year but he has to inform them with in July 2023 otherwise the extension will not be possible. But it is almost clear in his letter that he does not want to stay there even have the opportunity.
There is still no clear idea of what PSG wants to do. However, the French president said he would try to keep him but no news has been received in this regard yet.
