So imagine this was a existing private key! The point of my post is not to scare and say that private keys are not secure anymore No! but to say that theoretically its not fully impossible to generate a key that did indeed existed.
Let's be clear. All private keys already "exist". The question is whether or not a key is in use. Also, everyone knows that a collision is not "impossible". The reason that people say that a collision is "impossible" is that it is so "improbable" that it is
indistinguishable from "impossible", so the word "impossible" is a good choice for practical reasons.
I'm sure you already know all this, but I'm just clarifying.
