Ten years is a long time, but lets consider you have asked this question in 2009 when bitcoin was first introduced and it has been 2019, so you could read the chart and see the difference in prices between these two marks and thus educate yourself on what predictions came right and what did not.
At the current scenario, I feel that the mainstream buzz on crypto has grown to be much larger than 10years back and thus the future holds bright. We can already live on crypto at this time and maybe in future, every grocery store out there is going to have a bitcoin payment system running for passing by customers.
