It seems quite obvious to me that Ancelotti will remain at the club - in the end, with the crisis Real (in the crisis of which he is not to blame at all), he reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and even lost La Liga, but overall it was a good year. If he had such results with the transfers that he requested and would have received, then it would be a different matter, but Mbappe remained at PSG and Real refused to fight for Haaland.
And I do not believe that Ancelotti himself can leave (without dismissal or not renewing the contract) from Real to the national team (of any country). Club football >> national team football if we are talking about top clubs.
I wouldn't say that Real Madrid refused to fight for Haaland, but there have been a couple of things at work and I believe as a player at that stage one of the dreams is to be coached by Pep Guardiola for sure. There have also been a couple of other things like Haaland's father having played for Manchester city for example and for a guy who is so competitive like Haaland, I expected that he will prefer the Premier League over La Liga. And he has done everything right, I think he had that feeling and to be honest who wouldn't like to be part of the best club in the world. The Manchester City squad is the strongest out there right now.
I mean that Real Madrid refused to fight for Haaland because they were sure that Mbappe would go to them and signing two players who would definitely compete against each other in the wrong way. But Mbappe turned out to be a cheat and as a result, Real Madrid found themselves without any increase in attack before the last season, which led to such poor results.
