Wondering how Dortmund is going to perform in the next season because they had their own policy to sell the players for years that's how they usually earn money. This business helped them to earn money by selling players like Haaland to Manchester City and now other players Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid while we know if Dortmund had both players in this season, by using a player like Haaland they could have much more chance to achieve the Bundesliga title, but they prefer to earn more money instead of this.
Dortmund's goal is not to win the Bundesliga title. Dortmund aim to find talented players. And make them experienced enough to sell them at a high price. Dortmund sold Haaland last season. Dortmund are set to sell Jude Bellingham to Madrid next season. And perhaps Dortmund will make money by selling Haller next season. Had Haaland, Haller, and Jude Bellingham been in Madrid's attack, Dortmund might have won the Bundesliga title last season.
I don't agree with you. For any team, the first goal is usually winning the title in the league and no matter how important is to earn money for them, I mean why they need the money and how they use the money. Dortmund is a team that usually grows young talents and uses the players to sell them and make money. But the first goal is still to win the title in Bundesliga.
No matter how rich they can be by selling players, still they are earning money to reach their goals.
If Dortmund's goal was to win the title, they wouldn't have sold the best players in the squad every season. But running the club definitely requires money. But if Dortmund's goal was to win the title, the management would have tried to make the squad stronger. But we don't see that. Dortmund builds a squad with young players every season. And tries to make money by selling these players at higher prices in the future. They didn't do that every season when the goal was to win the title.
