Chelsea have already endured too many defeats and humiliations in league games this season, and I doubt they will be able to perform at their best next season. Looking at the club's current squad, I don't believe they are serious about winning, yet it is only a matter of time before the club regains their form. Mauricio Pochettino is the new manager, and fans should give him a chance to understand what his presence means for the club. Chelsea's problem is simple inconsistency; the Blues need to recruit more players who are serious about playing high-level football.
It all depends on how long it will take Pochettino to build a competitive team and how satisfied the head coach is with the available squad. But I don't think we should expect wonderful results from Chelsea in the first half of the championship. However, I will be glad to make a mistake and history knows a lot of examples when just the arrival of a new coaching staff transformed teams and they began to show mind-blowing results from the very beginning of cooperation.
