Whether it is gambling addiction or another behavior, addiction can have a strong hold on a person's life. There is often a great deal of effort, determination needed to break free of the cycle of addiction. Many people become accustomed to the thrill and excitement of gambling, and this makes it even more difficult to stop.

People may experience what is commonly known as a "winning phase," in which they initially succeed and even meet their financial goals. However, maintaining those winnings over the long term can be difficult, which may lead to further gambling in an attempt to replicate them.
That's right, an addiction to anything can be a curse for a human being because no matter how hard they try, they can't stop themselves from it and they keep doing it until the stage where they have already lost everything and then they realize that they've been doing the wrong thing, but when someone tries to talk them out of the situation, they don't listen to them and tell them that they don't need any help.

When it comes to gambling, we all know that it's a game of luck, and everyone will surely get a winning streak at times, but that doesn't mean that it is something that can be sustained for the long term and you will eventually lose if you keep gambling after that.

But i can also still put it this way that there are ways we can curb an addiction provided if the gambler will make himself being subjected to the whole process, we can go on a total rehabilitation process, employ a therapist to work out somethings for us, avoid all gambling enabling environments and get busy with doing other things of quality interest to us in replacement of gambling addiction, though it may cost us financially and emotionally but if we can adapt we will see the difference throughout the process and with time things will change foe better, it's not a spiritual matters but what we can from within control it and revert the curse to benefits we gain from the change experienced.
