It is not always easy to accept the loss and move on in gambling. It also depends on how much was used to bey. Some people do.not bey with what they can afford to lose. They stake very high and that is why it is always difficult for them to move on when they lose it. They will continue by chasing their losses by taking some revenge betting which never ended well.
When you gamble with any amount you can afford to lose and take gambling as a fun rather than an investment opportunity, you can always move on whenever you lose.
The main difference between those which gamble for fun and those which gamble to get money is their ability to move on once they lose, those which see gambling as just another hobby can accept their losses and then do something else with their time, but those which want to make it a profession cannot accept the fact they lost money, so they keep gambling hoping to recover what they lost only to face disastrous results as they gamble money they cannot really afford to lose.
Exactly. If you gamble only to have fun it's easy accept the losses since you're not expecting anything but to entertain yourself. That's how we should treat gambling so it can't affect us negatively. It's easy to move on and return playing again because you're just doing it to kill time. The problem for other gamblers are they're playing to get money using the amount that they can't afford to lose even it's not guaranteed to win. Then will have regrets if they lose and will try to chase the losses, and the start of becoming addicted.
It's been said many times to not gamble with a main goal to win, this is to not get disappointed. Because once you gamble your money the risk of losing it is possible.
