Ac milan has not yet bought even a single player from another club. This club is passive now. I don't even know whether the financial condition from the club is preventing the club to buy the new player or not but if acmilan wil not be able to compete with another club in upcoming season with the same squad as previous seasons.
I think for now AC Milan is still in the process of restructuring after the sacking of Paolo Maldini who was deemed to have failed to generate income for the club. As we know, AC Milan failed to get money from Donnaruma and Calhanoglu who moved for free. Currently Maldini's position is temporarily replaced by Geoffrey Moncada, maybe Milan still needs a few days to make a decision regarding transfers this summer. I can't even think about Milan's potential next season, maybe finishing in 5th place is a good position, because several AC Milan players have returned to their home team from loans and so far they are not giving any good news about transfer.
If AC Milan aims to win the title next season then they should definitely prepare a big fund and add the necessary talented players to the squad. AC Milan does not have a strong enough squad to win the title. AC Milan qualified for the Champions League. Consistency is difficult to maintain in both the Champions League and Serie A. And so AC Milan needs to build a more experienced and stronger squad. AC Milan conceded 43 goals last night. The defense was not strong enough. And so if you want to do well in the next season, the first thing that AC Milan needs to do is to strengthen the defense.
This is the main problem for Milan at the moment. I personally don't think they don't want the title because of course the Scudetto is a symbol of where we rule for the domestic league but then again Milan are still constrained by the money they have.
It's obviously a bit complicated for them not only now but the previous season was like that too.
The latest news at this time for Milan is that it is possible for them to be able to bring in Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal because of the cash book problems facing Villarreal because the possibility for Villarreal is that if they don't cut wages then they will sell Samuel Chukwueze.
This will be a good signal for Milan because Samuel Chukwueze is the main target for Milan so far.
On the other hand, it looks like Juventus will now let Cuardado and Bonnuci go.
