Of course, Perez must want to sign a top striker for their main striker. After Benzema left the club and joined At Ittihad, Real Madrid has no striker. There was a rumor Real Madrid negotiating for Harry Kane, but I am not sure Real Madrid is still interested to sign him now. Recently, we heard that Tottenham management sets Harry Kane's price is about £200 million. I thik Real Madrid doesn't want to pay Harry Kane at that price, it is too expensive for 29 years old striker. Moreover, Harry Kane's market value is actually only about £90 million. It is a bit strange that Daniel Levy and Tottenham management wants £200 million for Harry Kane's transfer fees. So, Real Madrid should look for another striker, Osimhen, Vlahovic or Firmino is still available on the market. I believe these strikers will be much cheaper than Harry Kane's price (£200 million).

I don't think Real Madrid will complete Harry Kane's transfer if Tottenham set such a high price for him. I think Real Madrid would likely complete Mbappe for the same amount if they were willing to spend that amount on a striker. But instead of buying an expensive striker, Real Madrid have an alternative where the unexpected Joselu has become Real Madrid's latest signing as a striker.

Jesulu may only have a short-term contract with Real Madrid as he was the only alternative being considered after Real Madrid lost Benzema. If Real Madrid don't find their best new striker, then they might do it again in another transfer market while following developments on Mbappe's situation at PSG.
