And do not forget to save and duplicate the 2FA key, because if you lose it and want to restore it, you will fall into 9 circles of hell of communication with technical support, and in this case,
You are 100% right, my friend indeed saw hell try to recover his account when he lost the 2FA key connected to one exchange and couldn't recover his funds as I speak, luckily for him it was a few dollars that got involved,$100+.
I recommend using 2FA and email to work with the exchange. This set is enough to work with all popular exchanges.
Exchanges have many ways they plot just to get our data, I'm a victim of this phone number stuff, and I use 3 processes of authentication including my phone number. I think I have to do something about this.
