It is a really difficult thing for Serie B teams to even cling to the Serie A in their first season there after promotion. Lecce, Cremonese and Monza were the promoted teams this season and only Monza were really impressive. Because Monza finished the season at the 11th position despite coming from the Serie B playoffs stage to this league.
Cremonese are back in the Serie B again and Lecce were also nearly relegating from the Serie A as well. This time we are going to have Frosinone, Genoa and Cagliari here.
