Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabia, other Saudi clubs have been trying hard to sign big stars from Europe. Like a few days ago Al-Hilal offered a huge amount of money to bring Lionel Messi to their team but they finally failed to bring Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilal failed to bring Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia but another Saudi club Al Ittihad took Karim Benzema to their club. Ronaldo Messi Karim Benzema was not limited to these three Saudi clubs. Neymar was also offered a big sum to join the Saudi League but Neymar refused the offer.
I think Neymar's refusal to play in the Saudi Arabian league is not just because he wants to play in the champions league, I think it's because of his lifestyle. He likes partying, clubbing and gambling and I don't think these things are allowed this region because of the strict Islamic laws. Also, deals has been agreed with Chelsea over the following players; Eduardo Mendy and Al Ahli, Koulibaly and Al Hilal, Ziyech and Al Nassr. Money is not the problem for the Saudis, they are ready to break the bank to get their targets, they have a goal and they are working towards making their league to be a top flight in the asian region and the world at large.
