There are some new reports that are actually quite interesting to discuss in my opinion.
After Madrid finished bringing in Joselu on loan from Espanyol president Perez said that he would be the final signing for Madrid and this could mean that there will be no further additions for the striker now as they are satisfied with the current squad.
I actually find it quite strange, did they really not learn from their previous mistakes with this? even though the players who are coming now I don't doubt that but with Brahim Diaz and Joselu who are the axis of attack now are they sure about that as a substitute for Benzema for the targetman there? I personally feel this is still lacking because compared to other strikers they have chased before like Kane or Vlahovic it is clear they have more instinct and great potential than Joselu.
No way, it is June now. There is not a single reason why a club should say that this is it and over and out of the transfer game. They could say it to pretend they are not interested in buying players anymore and therefore keep prices lower perhaps, but to be serious nobody believes that anyway. There is no point in saying that they are done. If something comes up that is interesting to them, of course they would try and take an opportunity even it is an unexpected one. Joselu on loan wasn't Real Madrid's last action for their offense this transfer period. If yes it would surprise me.
The hope is indeed like that because indeed I would doubt Madrid a little if I only rely on this striker.
Not that Brahim and Joselu are bad, it's just that for Real Madrid targets I still feel there should be more to it than this.
This is still quite a long time for reshuffling and indeed it can still be done, hopefully this is just a strategy to defuse the news where sometimes it is also important to make things seem quiet but keep moving to look for the best.
There are still a few more weeks before the league restarts and my hope is that there will be another surprise for Madrid before the player transfers really close.
