I think both networks are very good, but BEP-20 is mostly used Due to low fee. For long term investment I always use Erc-20 whenever I send a token to my wallet, because ERC-20 has high fees but is the best network in terms of security. I often use the BEP-20 network where I have to sell my assets quickly. I think people have more trust in the ERC-20 network, because Ethereum token is the second top currency of crypto market and ERC-20 is its network.

Those who are big traders or investors always use ERC-20 network, although it is expensive compared to BEP-20.The reason I see is that people think their assets are more secure on the ERC-20 network. I trust ERC-20 more than the BEP-20 network itself, because I feel less risk of losing my assets here.
