It's difficult to fight in the Champions League when a team doesn't have high-quality players, but in the season that just finished Sevilla were still able to stay in the middle area of the final standings and it's not that close to relegation. It might be good for Sevilla if they can compete with the top teams in the Champions League but even if they do qualify for the round of 16 I believe they will only fall short before reaching the quarter-finals. So even though Sevilla failed to qualify for the round of 16, they have a better chance in the Europa League.
Sevilla are a mediocre team, although they deepened their squad in the transfer market this summer by bringing in new arrivals. however, it will be difficult for them to keep up with the competition in the Champions League. ideally, they will focus on improving their ranking in La Liga. improve performance, and try to focus on the things they need to improve. However, that doesn't mean Sevilla won't be serious about their matches in the Champions League. either way, they will show their best game. but as we all know, the teams that compete in the Champions League are the strongest teams in their respective leagues. so, all we can do is enjoy when they play the game later. especially the match against Manchester City in the UEFA Super Cup, a very tough match of course for Sevilla who will meet the team that won the Champions League.
