Priorities matters in all of this. La Liga is important to win just like the champions league. At least if he can’t win both, he shouldn’t lose both of them. I respect Xavi’s coaching style and I’m sure he’s going to do better by next season. The team is currently facing financial challenges, but I hope they’re able to find a way out to be able to sign new players to fill the void against next season, most especially the champions league competition.
I think it will take time for xavi to bring Barcelona back strong in the Champions league. Last season Barcelona was eliminated in the grub phase and this season we hope Xavi can bring Barcelona further forward in the Champions League. I think one of the best strengths that Xavi has this season is their success in winning the Laliga which makes them more confident for next season in the Champions League. Xavi is not full of experience in the Champions League yet, but I see that he has quite the same character as Pep and it's just that he needs time and a long process to bring Barcelona back to become the strongest team in the Champions League.
It will not take any long time for Xavi to bring Barcelona back to the front seat of Champions League.
It did not take him forever to take a woeful Barcelona back to glorifying laliga Champions.
Why then do you think he cannot do it for the Champions League.
What he needs is consistency and reinforcement of his squad and then have a target and focus.
Xavi is a great coach and the Champions league won't be something that will be so hard for him. If Barcelona can sign good players the performance the team in next season will be better because xavi is this kind of coach who also knows how to use players and bring out the best from them. What affected Barcelona to be eliminated in the Champions league game was because they didn't have much players , so it was very difficult for them to perform well in their games. Barcelona already have good coach to win trophies, what they just need now is to sign in quality players to strengthen the squad more.
