Any top ten on coinmarketcap is a good altcoin wherein it has strong foundation already and many supporters and investors as well that alone is a good indications that that altcoin is a good to buy and hold that will do good in the next bull market. Take note, always invest what you can afford to lose hence in crypto is very volatile market which is very unpredictable.
I'm not agree with you, even any top 10 ranking coin will not be good investment, as like DOGE is included in top 10, you know it’s a pump & dump coin, it can't be safe investment for the future because of it’s a manipulated by someone (Elon Musk). And i think SOLANA also TRON seems not good in long term.

so it's only natural that the volatility of altcoins is large, but for technology, of course SOL and TRX are worth investing in.
