With the budget AC Milan has its going to be difficult to make any high profile signing this summer.
They can still play well and perform better with what they have or with whatever they can get, but that's a very big gamble. Now, not only are the focused on players to sign, but they are also focusing on a technical director to hire.
Personally, I believe a good technical director will make good signing. So if the person taking over is not very good at his job it will be a very big issue for Milan.
There are talented players in some clubs in Europe and other continents that might be less expensive. Football scouts shouldn't just focus on top clubs or leagues to get players because it will be expensive. Going to a lower league and some developing league could help save a lot of costs. Targeting players that are free agents will be nice but most time these players are not in top form. Milan already has a good team, the focus of the club now should be how to keep some important players and get more players to fortify the team. But the club can sell some players if it will give them more funds to buy more quality players. Time is running so AC Milan should be proactive like other top clubs.
