With the budget AC Milan has its going to be difficult to make any high profile signing this summer.
They can still play well and perform better with what they have or with whatever they can get, but that's a very big gamble. Now, not only are the focused on players to sign, but they are also focusing on a technical director to hire.
Personally, I believe a good technical director will make good signing. So if the person taking over is not very good at his job it will be a very big issue for Milan.

This season, the Rossoneri have 20W 10D 8L and are ranked fourth on the table, putting them in contention to compete in UCL action next season. Stefano Pioli, the rossoneri's manager, did his job and bears no guilt from the fans. AC Milan tightens their transfer budgets, the board needs to see good results in the club, they have potential and excellent players, and the key question is, why are they not winning trophies? AC Milan had a good season despite failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League final, where they were defeated by Inter Milan.

The results for this season are not entirely bad for Milan even though in the end they finished in 4th place in the standings, but not infrequently they should have been able to get a better place if they did not experience inconsistency towards the end of the season. I think Pioli has done a good job and there is no doubt that Milan next season will try to achieve better results, especially to get closer to winning the Scudetto or any other competition.

I think that if Milan fail to win a trophy because of their unstable performance and there are also many other teams who have the same fate as Milan, so it's no wonder they will still experience the same result if there is no change in the team. The addition of new players must also be carried out by Milan because it will be a source of strength to be able to win the title.
