Many people believe that Haaland is better than Benzema, Mbappe, Ronaldo, and Messi today, but I make it clear to them that even if Haaland plays for another five years, he won't be able to match what these players have already accomplished because all of these players create opportunities for themselves to score goals; they don't always rely on others.
Those people have a right to their opinions no matter how weird it may seem. In my own opinion, Haaland currently is nothing compared to Mbappe. While Mbappe himself being in top form can’t be placed on the same league as Messi or Ronaldo.
Personally, I don’t even believe Haaland could ever play better than Messi although that remains to be seen. Messi and Ronaldo have had a very successful career scoring goals as well as creating chances for other to score. Let’s see Haaland top that
With Messi and Ronaldo, Haaland cannot be compared. Haaland is a FW and his job is to score goals. It works wonders in the forward end and does its job properly. Messi, on the other hand, was playing as a freelancer and was doing great offensively. So did Ronaldo. They have also appeared to play the main role on the wings, but Haaland cannot play the main role on the wings. His job is to score goals at the forward end. Maybe it's fair to compare him to Lewandowski or Thierry Henry. He even played on the wings from time to time in Henry.
