They've recently increased Victor Osimhen's purchasing price to €180M which is to discourage top bidders.
The real value is € 120M, so there is a figure more than € 60M which is quite high and can be used to get other players, so actually Napoli is wanting to say to the clubs who are still after their main striker, that they will not sell this star, and the amount pegged by Napoli is equal to the real value of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Maybe the clubs will be reluctant to get him and this season Victor Osimhen will stay with Napoli and that's what they have to do if they want to keep the title and can do better in the champions league next season. Unless Napoli make selling their stars one of their businesses to make money like the teams from the Bundesliga do.
Although a change in manager will also be a question, how will Napoli continue to perform an impressive appearance in the next competition?
I think nobody would be able to pay him 180 million, that just doesn't feel like it will happen. The best thing to do in this case would be making sure that you are handling all the contract talks with the manager, that way you can get him after the contract is up. Thinking that people would be willing to spend 180 million to get him is just a dream, not reality and won't be happening.
Mbappe worths that much if you ask me, only like maybe Mbappe and Haaland, nobody else really feels like they would worth that much. Osimhen had a great season that's true, and he is a great player all that's true, but 120 is the max teams would pay, anything more than that is beyond bonkers and doesn't feel like they are going to actually get that offer.
